“A traditional onsen hotel with a historic look. Our family of 3 stayed in a standard room, nothing more than general. The dinner is Japanese style set with good looking. Yet, one kind of the mixed sashimi was still frozen hard when being served and I had never experienced this in a Japanese ryokan before. Staff were nice, but not very outgoing when compared with other ryokans. The stay was general.”

During my stay, there is one staff who can speak mandarin. Another one or two can speak general English. Other can only speak Japanese. This is normal as that area is not famous for foreign travellers due to the transportation. Onsen is great - this is important for lady visitors but not quite relevant for males as most of male……
