Island style, laid-back living, waterfront, pool, pier and outdoor shower
10/10 Excellent
"We had an excellent stay and this home was truly perfect for our group of 9 (two families). The two-story layout was ideal: parents took the two bedrooms upstairs, and our 20-somethings had the three bedrooms downstairs—everyone had their own space and it never felt crowded. Beds were all very comfortable and we all slept great. We loved having both a full kitchen upstairs and a kitchenette downstairs. We cooked breakfast each morning and a couple of dinners and everything we needed was there. The pool was a huge plus (the beach area isn’t really a lounging beach), and we enjoyed the hammocks on the dock. The kayaks and paddleboard were an awesome bonus and got used more than once. And a big convenience: both excursions we booked picked us up right at the home’s private dock. The absolute best part, though, was Ester and Anton. Ester went above and beyond helping us book excursions and pointing us to great places to eat and shop. Anton was there daily helping keep the bugs at bay, and when a picnic table bench broke, he had it fixed within a few hours.Beds were comfortable, towels were plentiful (bath and beach), and the washer/dryer made it easy to keep up with beach towels during the week. The home feels private and quiet, but it’s still only about a 20-minute ride into town, with a couple restaurant options close by. Stax Bar became a repeat nightcap spot and is within walking distance.Highly recommend. Casa Amarillo made our trip easy, comfortable, and memorable!"
"The owners agent was very responsive and accommodating. The house was well appointed with beautiful views. Off the beaten patch, very quiet and secluded. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the house and its agents!"
"Coming from Canada with family/friends to celebrate my birthday and skip a bit of the winter was fantastic! Property was great, Steve was very responsive and the people in Belize are some of the kindest people we have met. Only thing (no one has control) is the bugs at dawn/dusk, do your research on how to protect yourself. I always say-it is what you make it. Thank you for the new memories!!"
Casa Conch Belize – Private Beachfront Home with Rooftop Deck & Dock
10/10 Excellent
"Ester was very helpful getting shuttle from airport, golf carts, and answering all of our questions. Daniel was there bright and early keeping the grounds in tip top shape. He even got us some coconut water which we very much enjoyed! Everyone is correct about the road from San Pedro being full of potholes and muddy. It is end of rainy season so is worse than dry season, I’ve heard. Still, if you want to travel into town daily, like my family did, it is doable. The home is clean and right on the beautiful Caribbean Ocean. We had boat pickups from the pier. The two kayaks were a fun bonus on a calm day. We even had fresh caught lobster brought to our pier for our Thanksgiving meal! The kitchen is pretty well stocked. Just be sure and check both kitchens as one might be missing a large bowl, for instance, but it’s found in the other kitchen. We had a lot of wind and rain, but still always found something to do. My family had a great time and would gladly return. The only reason it didn’t get all five stars is because of the muddy road (no fault of property owner, just how it is) and the fact that there is a house being built directly behind Casa Conch so construction is quite loud during the day (again not fault of property owner just an inconvenience). Thank you Pelican Reef Management for an enjoyable vacation!"
Oceanfront 5 bedroom Hibiscus House Private Villa Beach BEST Pool on the Island

"My family of 12 all meet there and had a blast. Clean spacious house with plenty of privacy for the family. every bdrm had bthrm, perfect. roads are terrible from all the rain but it didnt stop us from having fun. You are in the tropics, expect bugs! ants, sand fleas, mosquitoes and cockroaches. if these bug you, go north to a cold climate. Caretaker and host, the best people around. Johnny excursion, unbelizable fun! "
"The house was a beautiful fit for our family of 7, Ester was the greatest along with Samwell. The house has everything that you would need to enjoy a vacation in San Pedro, the pool, kitchen and terrace are more than ample space to enjoy. Can't wait to return next year."
