My husband and I rented this property for our honeymoon in Marco Island. We were impressed by the location and the proximity to the beach. We were not happy with the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the condo and the quality of the amenities that were offered. For example, the condo had a weird smell upon entering, the towels were dirty and/or stained, the kitchen cutlery and dishes were dirty, and the bathroom floors were dirty. This condo also needs some serious updating...one of the showers did not work at all, the beach umbrella and cooler were broken, the kitchen supplies are very outdated (e.g., the toaster completely burnt my toast at the lowest setting, the pots and pans are old and rusty, etc.), and the blinds are broken/do not close properly. Given turtle season and the requirement to close blinds by 9pm every night, you would hope that the blinds close properly....Overall, we were not impressed with our stay here and we will not be recommending this property to anyone. We strongly recommend that the owner hire an adequate cleaning person for the future and re-invest some money into the amenities offered in this condo.
