In my opinion, it is closer to a 3-star property. Our room had several maintenance issues. The entrance door had a visible wall crack, and multiple electrical outlets were loose and needed repair. 「Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Ipanema Inn. Une literie exceptionnelle, une chambre parfaitement nettoyée tous les matins, un service sans faute et aux petits oignons, et sans oublier un petit déjeuner exceptionnel. L’accès à la plage d’ipanema à 1 minute à pied à peine est vraiment non négligeable, avec serviettes et chaises/parasols offerts. Un très bon rapport qualité prix.」

「The hotel was great except we were given a room with a the view that we had paid for. At the checkout, when asked, we were told that we should have asked at the checkout in, which makes no sense. The top floors are not blocked by the shorter buildings across. The elevator buttons were also flaky. They light up after the card scanned, and then they would go off. That happened half of the time.
