“We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The living room was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and the garden was great. We got lots of sun on the decking and adored the sauna! The upstairs bedrooms are bright and large. The bedroom with the en-suite is small but cosy. The en-suite is more of a wet room but that was fine for a couple of days. It’s about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Margate which we found totally reasonable. ”

“THE BOLTHOLE liegt im Stadtteil Westbrook von Margate und ich würde diesen Teil als "Cottage-Viertel" bezeichnen, denn Margate selbst ist ein, in die Jahre gekommener Badeort der Briten, der leider schon bessere Zeiten erlebt hat. Für Ausflüge nach Canterbury, Dover, Whistable und viele weitere sehenswerte Punkte in Kent ist die Lage aber perfekt. Zur Standpromenade geht man 5 Minuten und von dort sind es ca. 20 Minuten hinein in die Stadt - ein wirklich schöner Spaziergang entlang des……

“Hosts were available thru what’s app to answer questions which was good. Unfortunately the property was in need of maintenance. The 2nd shower room was out of order . The parasol was broken and ripped. The grass has brambles growing in it and the patio table was in need of repair. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The location is excellent and a parade of shops near by very handy. Fans were provided in the property which was good as it was so hot. We enjoyed our stay but it would……

“Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING……
