And our room was always clean and neat with special effects thanks to Patricia. Loved the flower and towel "art" ! The only negative things were that one day a gentleman who was clearly a guest entered our room with his card key. I was there at the time but if I had not been there he may have been able to steal everything. This……

“Hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to go back. One odd thing is that we bought the All Inclusive option, but they still gave us full checks/bills at every meal and closing out any bar service, showing the full amount "owing", which was disconcerting at first. This should have been explained to us upon checkin, and would have avoided confusion and frustration. Was fine in the end. We were not being charged. Despite being prime time (Feb 2026), it was not busy. Never……

“We were at the Posada for 2 weeks. All inclusive. The food for a buffet was the best I think in the 20 years that we have been at Ixtapa. We have stayed at several other hotels, but we prefer the Posada. It feels more family then the others. A lot of the staff have been there for years and remembered us. “Everything is perfect at Aura del Mar. We prefer the Superior Suite because of the extra room and the elevated view. The pool area is excellent with plenty of shade. Another few steps and you are on the beach! The restaurant has amazing food. We loved the nightly happy hour on the sunset viewing deck. Abel treats his customers like family. Roxy at the front desk and Carlos who books excursions are both helpful and making every guest feel at home.”
