Ixtapa Vista Hermosa Beach Hotels

"Beautiful location and room with amazing view. We were charged for water beyond the one bottle that was allocated in our all inclusive package. Also lunch at the beach was not included beyond hot dogs and crevices. "

"People were saving chairs 24hrs a day. They would arrive at 930 and leave at 2. Staff did nothing about it when questioned. So with majority of the chairs taken around the pool and towels out all night it was obvious that cleaning of the pool area was not happening. Our room was 2 floors above the night club that went from 10pm till 2am every night. When asked to be moved to another room we were told 2000 pesos a night would be charged. After it closed the patrons would have a pool party till 3am. No security around to stop it. It was a very disapointing experience. We have stayed here before as well as many times at the barcelo in huatulco, and this was by far the worst experience."

"We had a beautiful view of the ocean, and the pool was only steps from our condo. We often had the pool to ourselves, and It felt like our own private paradise. The complex is wonderful, and the guards are very helpful and friendly. Hector, the owner, i. mmediately answered any questions we had. This was the perfect place for a warm, sunny, relaxing vacation! We hope to come back soon."

"We arrived to our room not being available due to them extending someone else's stay for a night. So, the trip did not begin well. We finally got our room at 5pm the next night. Adan in the beachside "snack" shack was the best and Cleo at the towel bar also! Both greeted us daily and made us feel welcome. We loved our beachside room, however the Emporio (hotel next door) had speakers blasting at our room until 12 or 1AM most nights. Food at the "snack" shack was the best. The two buffets were ok. We generally eat out most nights so the fact that the buffet was mediocre didn't matter much to us. We found it very hard to know what was going on or how things at the hotel worked. We had to seek out help often as no one really helped in that way. We have been to Ixtapa multiple times since 2005, and have tried multiple hotels over the years, if not for the loud music next door I think we would stay here again. We found staff to be kind all except the one beach waiter who would not give us the time of day EVER! He would literally come as far as our chairs and turn around. Was quite disappointing. "

"Very enjoyable resort. If you have mobility issues, I do not recommend it for you. It is built into a cliff side. Beautiful views but lots of stairs and uneven surfaces. "
