“Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that……

The countryside out there is beautiful and so is the view from the cottage itself. Inside the cottage everything we needed was provided for which made it a perfectly relaxing stay. Communication with owner Simon went smoothly; he answered all questions we had promptly. Whenever we're around Maidstone again, we'd love to come back to the Riverside Stable Cottage! ”
