「Fab place. I’ve stayed a few times and it’s always good quality. Staff went above and beyond this visit. Gym was excellent with good quality air con. My room was nice & comfy. I did 3 classes during my stay, all classes were of high quality. I had an evening meal & breakfast, again good quality. I sat out on the veranda overlooking the golf course. I also used the sauna during my visit which was one of the hottest I’ve been in! Top notch! Well done The Essex」

「Allison and cliff are very friendly and great cooks. The breafull English breakfast was outstanding. The rooms and home was so comfortable. I enjoyed being a about one hour outside of london and being able to explore the countryside. Cambridge. Castles, the north sra, and many other great sites.」

「Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. 」

「Beautifully presented, stylish property and very comfortable. Nicely situated on the High Street for all local pubs and restaurants. Check in and checkout were super easy. Hughly recommended for a stay in Maldon.」

「A lovely property with a great pub. The food was excellent and thankfully the weather was sunny and warm. What a wonderful evening to eat outside in their Olive Garden. The owners and the staff were all so helpful in guiding us to a sweet evening stroll. We knew they had great reviews and they are well deserved. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and cool. 「The room was very clean with a mix of modern and traditional facilities. Nicely renovated bathroom. The staff in the pub were very friendly and the food was excellent. A great choice of local beers and the food was delicious. Love the large beer garden. 」
