“Het was er oud en vies!”

“Very quiet. The breakfast service was outstanding. ”

“Nice room and a very pleasant couple of nights - the owner was most helpful in providing advice and guidance of local restaurants and spots to visit. Highly recommended”

“ROOM VERY LARGE AND SPACIOUS. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. GOOD BREAKKIE. GREAT LOCATION FOR WALKING TO SHOPS & RESTAURANTS NEARBY. SECURE PARKING AND FELT SAFE TO WALK AROUND AREA.”

“Mooie ruime kamers, mooie tuin en uitstekend ontbijt”

“It was serendipitous that I booked a stay at Mountain View Swellendam as I was looking for a place to stop about 6 hours west from Port Elizabeth. I saw nice pictures, a good rating, and a reasonable price. But WOW! First, incredible hospitality. We were greeted at the gate, shown our secure parking spot, then given a complete tour of our unit and directions around the grounds. Plus a recommendation for a restaurant for dinner that we followed and enjoyed. Also, a staff member stopped by to……

“Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. ”

“Excellent dinner and breakfast. Everything very good.”

“What a treat this place turned out to be. Friendly and gracious hosts, lovely room with a patio, great breakfast — everything we’d hoped. Plus proximity to vineyards, if you’re a wine drinker And Montagu is a charming little town.”

“It was a perfect stay and rest. Stay longer and they have many things to do in the area. Hikes, guided tours, cycling, motor bike club and even a Rolls Royce car tour. The host was wonderful and caring, it was a lovely stay Colin from London”

“De bästa värdparet man kan tänka sig. Lungt, skönt, rent och fräscht.”
