“Pass code given to us for the front door of the annex and was easy to use. Accommodation was beautiful,immaculate and the welcome touches were much appreciated. There is also a seating area in the garden for use. The annex is located in a quiet area which was perfect for us but also not too far from a decent sized co-op (and other shops)if we needed any groceries. We would recommend this to anyone thinking of having a break in the fantastic Isle of man. ”

“Bedrooms excellent bathrooms really lovely and very clean… no need to take towels as lovely clean white towels provided. The Sefton Hotel really is a Great place and directly on the seafront close to the ship terminal… the Gaiety Theatre next door which is another amazing place to visit. The Bar prices were quite good too. The bar itself is very small and staff look like they are running ragged trying to serve everyone lovely friendly staff too. The Breakfasts are so GOOD… a lot to choose from……

“Das Frühstück war sehr gut. In unserem Bad ließ sich leider die Heizung nicht abstellen, deshalb mussten wir oft das Fenster öffnen und uns hat im Zimmer ein kleiner Tisch mit 2 Stühlen gefehlt. Wir haben uns einen zweiten Stuhl bei der Rezeption bestellt und auch bekommen. Wir waren mit dem Hotel und Service zufrieden und werden wiederkommen.”

“The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. ”

“I can't fault my 3-night stay at the Halvard as a solo traveller on business. My room was well maintained, spacious and comfortable with a decent heating/aircon system that allowed me to have the temperature I like. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful throughout my stay. The food was superb with the included breakfast being excellent. The evening meals were likewise delicious, although the choices are limited - so if you are staying for more than a couple of……
