“Breakfast was very nice with multiple options. Room was clean and we were surprised that although we were only staying 2 nights that the bed was made and new towels provided after the 1st night…wasn’t really expecting that. ”

“Ginkgo is a small hotel near Central Square primarily serving the community connected to Harvard and MIT. The property feels like a small inn or private home and is located in a residential area. My room (#15) was on the ground floor off the lobby, with a comfortable king size bed, chair and desk, and bathroom. Clean, comfortable and quiet were the major characteristics. The hotel manager is a very sweet Chinese-American woman who personally engages with all the guests. Enjoyed my stay and……

They were so kind & helpful. the room was exceptionally clean & was tucked above the tavern. I wish we got to try their restaurant but we will definitely be back! ”

“The Silsbee Suite was lovely! Its def just for 1 or 2 ppl even though the kitchen is huge there is only 1 queen bed and a couch. You also habe acess to your own private patio but we were out all day and didnt really utilize that. This property is in walkimg distance to everything you need to get to and see in Salem. It is an old house and you can hear EVERYTHING! Even the other guests if they sneeze or laugh so just be aware of that. I would def stay again ”
