The staff really prioritize customers. The rooms were pristine with cleanliness and the decorations were very modern, without sacrificing the Sassi concept. The breakfast buffet well balanced. Air conditioning of the room, one of the best in Europe. The location is great be staying in the middle of the historic center.

Matera è semplicemente meravigliosa! ✨ Un luogo unico, pieno di storia, magia e angoli che sembrano usciti da un film. Passeggiare tra i Sassi, soprattutto al tramonto e all’alba, è un’esperienza che consiglio assolutamente. Se venite in Italia, non perdetevi Matera: è una di quelle destinazioni che rimangono nel cuore. 🇮🇹🤍

Amazing hotel, perfect location ( actually we are on the hotel albergo next to the church) we just realised there is two property of Albergo. The one next to church and by the square near highstreet is the best as there are ramos and easy for luggage. Close to shops, restaurant and all tourist spots🥂🇮🇹❣️

great reception and then taken to wonderful room in Sassi and right in the middle of the old town. Room really clean and comfortable. Breakfast next day was excellent and lots of choice and clean and fresh room

Everything was great. But the bed was very hard and quite uncomfortable. I recently has shoulder surgery and the overly hard mattress caused me considerable discomfort. I couldn’t recommend this property given that issue.

We booked Albergo di Sedile 12 hours before our arrival due to a Stayz host suddenly cancelling our booking with no notice. What could’ve been a disaster turned out to be a solid silver lining. What a fabulous albergo! We were greeted by the wonderful Francesca who looked after us like the Qweens we are during our four night stay. She answered WhatsApp messages after hours, acquired a porter to spirit our luggage from the office to our room at the hotel, brought us things we needed late at night and was an absolute gem. Grazie mille Francesca. 😘 The dining room team were terrific at breakfast time and the food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Our room was spotless, a minor issue with the shower flooding the bathroom floor (because a Qween probably didn’t completely close the door) was solved almost immediately and the bar fridge was totally appreciated. Its position down the stairs from the restaurants, shops and Matera Sassi life in general but without passing traffic noise or calamity was highly valued. Highly recommended.

Perfekt hotel i centrum af det hele. Flinkt personale og dejligt værelse. Så hyggeligt, det skal man ikke være bange for at vælge. En skør ting er, at man ikke må bruge deres elevator mellem 11-7 om aften/natten.

Ottimo hotel in pieno centro. Personale super disponibile. Abbiamo fatto un check in in ritardo in autonomia e abbiamo saldato la mattina del check out. Scelta top per un soggiorno a matera. Colazione ottima. Possibilità di lasciare anche i bagagli il giorno della partenza. Consigliatissimo.

Charming hotel in Matera

Great stay, clean, close to everything. Nice room but no windows because they are in a grotta in the old town. Be aware you need to walk from the lobby to the rooms and there are stairs to get there (don’t bring heavy luggage)
