The Montgomery Moonstone, Middlemuir Holiday Park,

Situated at 16 Rowan Grove in Middlemuir Heights Holiday park 10 minutes from Ayr which has its own website if you wish to see more information. A tranquil and mostly residential park surrounded by woods. 2 week max stay, I do have alternative accommodation for those seeking longer. This accommodation is more suited to couples and families wanting a quiet break away. The park has a strict rule of quiet time at 10 PM. Its only mobile wifi on site so this accommodation is not good for working remotely

Stopover

Very easy to check in, everything you need for a short stay. Property could do with a little more tlc, or leave a broom for outside use. I stayed for work and found the WiFi was awful. Towels provided but bring your own if you like large towels.

Lovely caravan with all you need, area was beautiful and quiet. Great Driving distance and easy roads to get to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Highly recommend for an authentic Scottish Countryside stay

The moonstone

The moonstone is absolutely beautiful spacious and homely. The host Barry was on hand and he was very helpful . The area is so peaceful looking out over the fields we saw some red deer . We have all throughly enjoyed our stay. The bed were very comfortable. I slept on the pull out sofa bed one night as my daughter wasn't feeling well and i found it comfortable and slept well. Thank you so much Barry. We look forward to staying again in the future. the field where we saw some red deer grazing

Middlemuir Moonstone

Our stay was wonderful and our host couldn't have been better . My complaint is with THIS PLAFORM!. IT'S TERRIBLE. YOU DIDN'T HAVE THE CORRECT PHOTS AND DETAILS OF WHAT I BOOKED, THE HOST WAS TERRIFIC IN PROVIDING WHAT I THOUGHT I BOOKED HOWEVER , THIS CA AS A SHOCK TO THE HOST AS HEIS END SHOWED WE BOOKED THE SMALLER LODGE. WILL NEVER USE VBRO AGAIN.
