"We had an enjoyable stay.All aspects very pleasing - especially the Indian food dishes which we ordered. Breakfasts very good too. We had a well-appointed room, spacious and suitable for my disabled wife. My only criticism is about policy of only servicing rooms when asked for; regular daily servicing means any problems are seen and can be dealt with sooner rather than later. Care for environment can be seen to by asking simply for thoughtful use of towels - avoid unnecessary washing. Thank you."

Parking free and next to hotel"

"The room was lovely, large & comfortable, but the reason I cant give a 5 star rating is because the water pressure in the shower is ridiculous. We stay here often, and it's the same in every room we've stayed in. A watering can would give you a better shower. I know water rates are high, but if they just put £1 on the cost of the room, it would cover it"

"We had a lovely time staff was so helpful and the wheelchair accessibility was better than some hotels only problem no lift so my partner had to sit on her own for breakfast but staff was so helpful as I went upstairs for breakfast buffet we would definitely book here again if ever down basildon"
