“The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!”

“Room was clean. Great value fir money unless youre unlucky enough to have a neighbour above you. The noise from the roon above was horrendous. Every footsteps echoes down through the floor. However the shower was hot. The room was comfortable and the bed was similarly comfortable. Can't and wont complain for 40 quid. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Recommended a lovely local curry house. Would use again would plum for an upper floor room if possible”

“Sadly, a disappointing stay in a hotel that has the potential to be beautiful but is dated and poorly maintained.
We did not receive the suite we specifically booked for its layout. The first room we were given was accessed through a pitch-black courtyard, which felt unsafe.
