"We were able to enjoy the remarkable quiet even though the street is fairly busy.The bedroom we used is at the back of the house and they did a fantastic job of making it DARK. I slept in one day until 11 and it was still dark. Great shades.The bathroom is small but functional and the towels and toilet paper were very good.The kitchen is as well as well stocked as ours at home. If you need it, it is there.The refrigerator is very cute as is the microwave...both designed to look like antiques. There is a small fenced in side yard for our dog and that was very helpful.The screened in back porch is probably special but the weather was not at all cooperative for sitting outside. Jacob and his wife have an eclectic sense of style making it a fun place...a little Hawaii, a little southwest, and a little klitch.The main bed is a king. We are used to a king foam bed so when I first got in, it felt hard but it slept really well. Got up refreshed .. when I got up. Place is clean. I'm pretty OCD on things like that and it met every test.When we first arrived I was hesitant. The yard was weedy, the house not especially attractive, driveway has cracks in the asphalt and the fence looked like I might have put it up. Truthfully, it is the least attractive house around. My first impression was that we overpaid.Ever heard the expression " trying to make a silk purse out of a pig's ear"?That's this place. But they did!!!The inside is great in about every way you can think of. "

"I video everytime I stay in a hotel/motel upon staying and leaving . There were stains on the bench, the wall , trash on the floor in my room and a handle was broke on the closet door , dirty curtains. In the hallway there were chunks of tile missing which could cause a trip hazard . There was a stick placed in the ice machine in the hallway. When I first arrived at the front desk I had to wait for 10 minutes to be waited on - due to no one at the desk. "

"This property has a very bad odor from the pets including the vacuum. The shower and bathroom was not clean dead bugs and a whole lot of dog hair everywhere "

"This home was one of the cleanest and definitely the best equipped to make guests feel at home. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were fully equipped and included many extras to make a guest feel welcome such as tissues in every room, adequate toilet paper, cards, games,books and cozy blankets for the chilly nights. Highly recommend this property which was located within easy walking distance of several excellent restaurants and shops. Located directly across from a small park on a very quiet street. Property is well lit with ample parking."
