Misleading Listing and Poor Maintenance – Disappointing Stay
Unfortunately, our stay was far from the “unforgettable” experience advertised. The biggest disappointment was the heated pool, which was listed as a highlight but required an extra fee that wasn’t mentioned upfront. Even after paying, the pool heating didn’t work, and we had to wait for a maintenance person to come out, interrupting our stay.
The bathrooms were also problematic. There was no hot water, and shockingly, there were no towel racks or hooks to hang any towels. Additionally, there were no hand towels or floor mats, creating slippery and unsafe conditions, especially with kids around.
The kitchen had its own issues. The flooring was uneven, making it uncomfortable to move around, and the stove dials were loose and kept falling off. At one point, we couldn’t turn the stove off, which was both frustrating and dangerous.
To make matters worse, when we arrived, the garbage containers outside were already full, leaving us with nowhere to take out our trash. We contacted the host, and their only response was that it was trash day, but the garbage was never picked up, leaving us stuck with overflowing bins for the duration of our stay.
This place might look nice on the surface, but these significant maintenance issues and lack of attention to detail made our stay stressful rather than relaxing. Definitely not worth the price or the trouble.
