Weekend Staycation in South Beach

We had a wonderful weekend at the 1 hotel in Sobe. Our butler was amazing and was able to satisfy all of our reservations requests and any questions we had right away. Property is beautiful and the hotel restaurants have great food and service. We’ll be back in June to celebrate another birthday! Thank you Walter and team.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the hotel/residences is excellent, and the grounds are lovely too, but from someone who has stayed at a lot of "luxury" places, I say SAVE YOUR MONEY. Why? First, we had two condos. In one condo the dryer didn't work and there was no hot water in two of the showers. In the other condo, the dishwasher leaked all over the floor. We had to use some of the towels we were allocated, and yet we couldn't wash them because of the dryer issue. We asked for an additional cleaning - which was for $378 per condo. They didn't change sheets, run the dishwasher or do anything we could see. We were also charged over $2300 erroneously for cabanas and not one person could help us for four days. No one called us back, no one knew what was going on - it was a cluster. It was only on the 5th day after we had checked out that were we helped by a concierge, Emerson to help get the credit. This was not a "luxury" stay. If you want a true luxury stay, go where things are worth the extra price, where they have excellent customer service and they are used to dealing with discerning travelers.
