「Don’t have high expectations as we did with booking a deluxe room, the room was in desperate need of an upgrade, I believe some rooms on the property were being renovated but ours looked nothing like the room on the photos. Not one coat hanger provided, an iron but no ironing board, bedding was supposed to be superior but the bed pillows smelled of stale sweat although clean pillow cases, found hair in bed, shower is either very hot or very cold couldn’t get it in between without it going off...

「This complex was once a rehabilitation facility. It has a lovely setting but it is very remote, aging, all self service everything, and almost seemed vacant during the entire 3 night stay. They did respond somewhat to our complaints. It does not meet the 8.8 rating at all.」

「Some hassle with door code not working at check in, but the hosts (accessed via phone) were very apologetic and helpful. The lodge is right next to the state park, a plus.」
