「Great little place to stay whilst attending a wedding at nearby Lake Henry. The lodge is immaculately clean and finished to a high spec. We received a fab little welcome pack too which meant breakfast on both mornings were sorted for us. It is so quiet and dark which enabled a great nights sleep too」

「It is a fantastic place in a great location. Upon entry, we were impressed; obviously we had made a great choice. The house was clean & freshly prepared. We were there to ride the Flying Scotsman, so parking was not an issue & it was a 2-minute walk from the station (up a cobble path). The village has more than we realized. The Co-op closes at 4PM. 「Our weekend in this cottage was comfortable and cosy. There was plenty of space for the two of us and it would be excellent for families as there are two lounge areas, one very spacious on the top floor. We appreciated the efficient log burner and were provided with all the equipment we needed. The views were lovely with one side looking over a field with horses, alpacas and pheasants. Contact with the owner was excellent. A lovely place to stay.」
