We love the atmosphere of the Zermatt and the quaint town of Midway!

We love the view of the cattle and creek running through the pasture, the abandoned homes of the property. The pond and creek as wells the craters help create a natural atmosphere

The Zermatt itself is looking a little older, little in need of a spruce up, but the unit we stayed in was everything we needed and more... Clean, comfortable, every kitchen tool we needed to have a great vacation. Bed was super comfy!!! -Kitchen - good little set up for a small family, could cook any meal aside from a 10 course thanksgiving!!! all the tools you would need to prepare your daily meals. -Bedroom- bed was super comfy - mattress felt new. TV in room was a nice touch. -Living room - tv was good, sofa was comfy, dining area is plenty.

We've encountered some issues with accessing the property, and they've taken care of us beyond expectations! The property was very clean and taken care of. The only issue was the remodeling happening in the downstairs unit right below (very noisy and obnoxious workers) and the owner's closet was unlocked, but when we put our coats in, it locked itself. The code was provided, but the closet should not have been accessible to begin with. Aside from some issues, most of which were not intentional, the stay was absolutely amazing, and the support was very professional. Thank you for hosting! Would definitely recommend to others.

Nice, but could use a few improvements.

The villa itself was spacious and very nice. We loved the fireplace and the cozy feel of it. We had a few issues, so I can't quite give a 5 star review. The first issue we had is that we could not figure out how to rent movies from the hotel's movie channel, it wouldn't work for us. We didn't try to fix it, but went to a movie instead. So, maybe this could have been easily resolved if we had tried. Secondly, the bed was uncomfortable. Very hard mattress, we both had trouble sleeping. Thirdly, the bath towels were VERY small. I am pregnant too so it was difficult to use this towel to dry off after a shower. I am not sure if these are provided by the villa owners or the hotel though. All that being said, we still enjoyed our time. We loved the amenities we had access to. I just wish we could have slept better and had access to the movies. I give it 3 1/2 stars.
