“Let me start we arrived at the hotel staff was super friendly right from the beginning. As we we’re walking to see our room we went towards the water to find out no beach since we are beach people my wife started to lose it I said let’s see the room first as she is telling Me I am not staying here . We go up to the room it was beautiful and comfortable! Well she opens cabinets where tv is supposed to be no tv boy she wanted to murder me . I said let’s spend the night and we will talk about it .……

“Secret Garden is a lovely,quirky,relaxed place to stay at Unawatuna Beach. The staff are amazing and make you feel totally welcome. You are staying in a beautifully maintained jungle type garden with resident squirrels, various birds and the friendly happy dogs. We would certainly stay again.”

“We were really looking forward to staying at Green Villa but upon arrival they said there was a problem with the room and they were completely booked so had to book us in a hotel next door. The place next door was dirty and only half as nice. I went back when I saw they had availability the next 3 nights and they were able to put us in a ground floor room (I paid for a balcony) but it was still nice. They wouldn't have put us in there had I not demanded it though. Overall the place is really……

“We had a great stay. The villa is surrounded by trees and is isolated yet not too far from the main roads. Our room was spacious and clean. The villa can rent out scooters and exchange money. The pool is huge. We were given space, but the staff was there when we needed them, and they were very friendly. ”

“Great hotel. Perfect beachside location. Found all the staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Rooms very clean and spacious. We had a room on the top floor with fantastic views. Only downside being the shower was more of a weak dribble - but no big deal. We didn’t eat at the hotel so cannot comment. Beach sun loungers were available. We would stay at the hotel again and would recommend you stay. ”

Die Zimmer waren sehr großzügig und modern - das Highlight war der Balkon mit Blick auf den Pool und den Feldern. Das Frühstück war auf Sri Lankanische Art gemacht - super lecker. Außerdem fanden wir es ganz toll, dass das Hotel einem Einheimischen gehört!!! Wir wären gerne länger geblieben aber wir kommen wieder! ;) Until next time!”
