“We stayed for 3 nights at the dark horse. Brittany was quick to reply to any questions I had. The beds were very comfortable. The suite was spacious. The shower has a gap at the bottom so at times the bath mat would get saturatrd causing my feet and floor to be wet. There was an extra bath mat to use so it was no big deal.Overall very good place to stay. We enjoyed our time and would come back again.”

“Beautiful, spacious, clean, stylish. Everything you need. Full, well equipped kitchen. Lovely deck space. Gas fireplace. Super comfy bed. Absolutely perfect!”

“Was great place for my adult daughter and I to stay as we each had a room. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed the conveniences in the area, within walking distance.”

“Loved our stay here - we wished we could have stayed for more than one night! Thanks for being a great host!”

“Dreamy, clean, bright, thoughtful and worth your money.”

“A really nice suite!”

“Great property offered by owners who care.”

“Cannot say enough about how much we love this place. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Bear Mountain getaway. The check in was smooth. The room was incredible. The environment was outstanding. We had a rough schedule because of what we ended up doing there but at night we were at ease. Rested well then move onto next day of another adventure. We are so grateful that we chose this place to rest.”

“Splendid stay. Everything you need is here. Super clean. Good job for the housekeepers. Highly recommended!”

“The host was not around when we arrived even though we told her we would be arriving early. The grounds were run down and when we tried to contact her there was no wifi or cell coverage at that remote location. Because of poor communication and the run down appearance of the place we decided to stay elsewhere.”

“Extremely good value! Property as described-rustic and clean. Spacious and well stocked. Nice swimming spot in the river, too. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars all around is that none of the windows in the house can be opened (except one, right beside the door). On two days of our visit it was quite hot, and it was difficult to cool the house down. There were several fans which was nice-we just opened the door wide and ran the fans before bedtime. Some more fresh air would have been……

“The apt is perfect for 1 or 2 for a 3-7 day stay. The location is easy to find and has quick access to many routes. It's clean and comfy.”

“Very quiet, clean comfortable suite with a great king sized bed in a quiet residential neighborhood”
