「Great spot for a family vacation!」

「Glad to find this place. It was perfect central MN location for us to call home while up for a celebration of life for my father. Loved the house layout with the firepit and easy access to lake via the dock. Also the wide driveway to get three cars & a boat trailer was greatly appreciated. Would stay again. Thank you Tyler! 」

「We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Great outdoors space for a fire and viewing the lake. One warning for boats: we rented a pontoon from nearby with the plan of using it off and on for a day while docking it in the back channel at the cabin like the rental says. With a regular sized pontoon motor trimmed about halfway, I was not able to access the back channel as the entrance was too shallow and I got stuck in the sand in multiple spots. The water was...

「Had a wonderful cozy and relaxing time at The Red Barn. The upstairs was perfect for our two daughters to have to themselves. We enjoyed renting a pontoon while we were there and I highly recommend that from the owner as well!! It’s exactly as described and they were super easy to work with. It was a unique place and that added a lot of charm to the stay overall. I’d stay in a fun and different place like this a thousand times before a hotel or condo that’s always the same cookie cutter...

「Beautiful sunsets. Outdoor areas great for outdoor games (we brought cornhole), eating Al fresco, and campfires. Lake was nice, had some activity but not overly loud. Boat launch is not too far and dock at cabin was very nice. Took daily 2 mile walks on the road, neighborhood seemed friendly - bring your books to exchange at the Little Free Libraries. Cabin was clean and cozy, had everything we needed to cook our meals and space for game nights. 」

「Some friends and I decided to get away for the weekend and stay at this wonderful cabin. Everything was as advertised and we had a great time. The restaurant/bar down the street is perfect for quick food and drinks and the space in the back is great for yard games. Would stay again!」

「The cabin was nice, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable.The dock/lake is located across a busy highway that is sometimes difficult to cross. We took 2 fishing charters which were very easy to set up. We enjoyed some meals at a few local establishments. The Lonesome Pine restaurant was our favorite. We will definitely stay here again when in the area! 」

「Check in was easy. Lots of extra groceries that made it easier for us. We loved the fire pit and the canoe and boats. Game room was awesome also. 」

「Amazing long weekend at Julia Lake. The cabin is just as described and the hosts are fantastic. We enjoyed coffee on the dock, kayaking, bonfires, and exploring the surrounding area. Pam and Leigh were friendly, helpful and gave great advice as to where to get a good meal, and glass of wine. We will definitely be staying at this cute and cozy cabin again and recommending others to as well.」
