“Driftwood provides the home from home feeling and is situated in a perfect setting . You have a coastal walk of Strangford Lough, an amazing Castle, all the village amenities and great pubs, with the Dufferin Arms providing that that fantastic Irish atmosphere and experience (stones throw from Driftwood. We had a lovely relaxing week in November in this impeccably renovated and decorated 200 year old cottage which has original features blended with all the modern comforts you could need including underfloor heating and a cosy stove for evenings around the fire. The cottage itself is set in the rolling County Down hills with glimpses of the Mourne Mountains in the distance on winding walks around the quiet roads. We also enjoyed star gazing on the terrace……

“This is an excellent place to stay, it is very clean and had a lovely fresh scent and even fresh flowers. The rooms are of a good size and nicely decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped indeed with everything you could need and the host left a couple of items in the fridge for us which was a very nice welcoming touch. We could park the car right at the front door, it was a very quiet street. The house is near a Tesco superstore and only a short half hour walk from the City centre. ……
