“We had an amazing time at this cabin! The owners are really friendly. We “Rode the Rails” in North Creek, which is about 11 minutes away, and learned some interesting local history about Teddy Roosevelt. After that, we spent some time at Lake George. Our favorite part was sitting by the fire at night, the stars were amazing! The kids loved using the kayaks, and everyone tried fishing, catching a few small perch. We also went to “Oscars Smoke House” picked up some chicken to grill and a raspberry……

“This place is great! Both indoor and outdoor wood fireplaces, room enough for plenty of people to do a group trip here. I was there off ski season for fall colors and it was just a beautiful place to relax. Extremely fairly priced for the amount of available room. ”

“This spot was ideal for us. Beauty, privacy, quiet, comfort. We used it as a base camp for exploring the Adirondacks. Felt remote but nearby North Creek had everything we needed. We had glorious weather and were outside most of the time, but the cabin was big enough for reading and playing games if we had needed to be inside more.”

“A spacious house in a good location, 30 minutes from trailheads in Keene valley and 10 minutes from shops in Schroon. Paradox Lake is great for swimming, kayaking, and fishing; lots of wildlife--loons, heron, beaver, deer, heron, and even an eagle sighting. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, good wifi (even by the beach). Host was very responsive. Only significant negatives were the lack of an outdoor shower or hose to clean off sandy children and no lake-side access to the house.”

“Very confortable, plenty of outside space to enjoy the outdoors. Rustic and enjoyable, had a fun pool table room. It had two refrigerators which was very handy. We would definitely plan to come back to this place.”
