The Tops’l Tides is a very nice property, safe and fun for families, enjoyable pool and beach experience. The condo needs some TLC. We contacted the Tides management who were courteous and prompt to respond re: a faucet leak at a bathroom sink and light over the stovetop that needed a bulb as well as a couple things that were deemed owner responsibility. We opted not to use the leaky sink which was a mild inconvenience. These repairs need to be made but who wants that done while you’re occupying the space? The sleeper couch cushions were dirty and the mattress was uncomfortable, springs and metal wires and bars minimally covered. A swivel chair in the living room was broken underneath so it sat at an awkward angle. Perhaps the owners need to spend some effort making the space a little nicer. Others in our party, in 2 other condos, had beach chairs and umbrellas which would have been super appreciated. The kitchen was minimally stocked for cooking and eating. It would have been nice to have been provided at least a salt and pepper? Bring your own coffee. Overall our experience of the accommodation was just average.
