Underwhelmed should have stayed in Texas

The view is stunning.... everything else needs work. Check in was unorganized and there should have been a detailed notice on VRBO that there is a separate checkin process. Linen wasted throughly cleaned, dishes and utensils unorganized. No instructions on elevator, fireplace, or bycyles had a wait several days to use. Didnt figure out that hot is cold and cold is hot on several showers until the last night. Front porch pool with the screaming alarm was not advertised. Enter house is uneven? We were walking up and down humps. Very under whelmed!

Needs a lot of attention

Lets start with positives:Location is awesome!Private pool Ample towel supplyBeach chair service includedComfy bedsElevator came in handy!Management Office was very responsive!Not Ideal:2 floors without A/C: Tech says needs new systemNo hot water - replaced hot water heater while we were there.Pool deck does not drain and handrails are a hazardLandscape between house and beach needs helpBathrooms (other than master) need renovated - rust in tubThe freezer was iced over and had a sign that read "This refrigerator is new and works fine".Dishwasher needs replacementHas 2 icemakers unfortunately, only one was functional - nice to have2 windows are broken/some trim is rotted insideCan hardly see out of the windows on the 1st floor to the beach due to salt sprayLast but not least, I'm worried about something black around the air vents (mold?)I think when some work is done to the property, it will be a 5 star experience....not yet.
