The shower was good & easy to use. The lady who greeted us was very helpful & friendly especially as we forgot to take our key out with us & had to ask her to let us in to our room. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for her. There was a good choice for breakfast which was cooked to order”

“Enjoyable three night break. Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable bed , room cleaned every day and were allowed to park at the hotel next door. As previously mentioned they serve a great breakfast . Five minute drive to town centre but pub and takeaway nearby. Will book again next time that we visit Dumfries.”

“We had a fantastic stay at The Old Rectory. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was the most comfortable we had in a 3 week tour of the UK! The host, Dave was lovely. So helpful in recommending local sights, and made a wonderful breakfast and coffee in the morning. The location was fantastic as well, Easy to walk to the High Street, beautiful bridge and walking trails, Annan museum, and restaurants etc. Thank you!”
