"The staff is attentive, but the decor of hotel is dated. Old beds, furniture, sheets, lining, etc. It can do with a fresh coat of paint and some repairs. They also need to consider how to proactively keep the rooms free of mosquitoes. Needed to get spray to kill mosquitoes in room. We had a late evening , 10pm, and the allowed a very late check out, 4PM. An example of how nice the staff was to us. They just need to update the dated decor."

"The staff at Miele beach are lovely. They were attentive and accommodating. The property is old and could use updating however the people and food made up for the wear and tear on the property. The meals were marvelous! The chef sat with us and shared his love of cooking! The housekeeping staff were very accommodating and our room was spotless! This place deserves 5stars once the rooms have been updated. Thank you for a lovely visit! "

"First, the place had a different name than what was advertised, when we finally got to the property, the attendant was dressed very dirty with sagging pants showing his underwear. He didn't even asked who we are or for any ID's. The room was at the 4th floor, the elevator doesn't work and the hallways are not lit. The sliding and front doors and windows are mostly not working and locks are not working. It was very unsafe, dirty and I left as soon as I got another reservation to another...

    "Our stay at Serena Bay was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The service was exceptional — truly a 10/10 experience thanks to the warm, attentive, and professional staff who made us feel welcome every single day. We stayed for 8 days in a beautiful room overlooking the beach, and waking up to that stunning view every morning was unforgettable. The food was fantastic across both restaurants — delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. One of the highlights was the daily afternoon tea from 4–5 p.m., which offered a lovely selection of treats in a relaxing setting. The spa team was wonderful as well professional, friendly, and they created such a calm, peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind completely. For families, the kids club was an absolute gem. Our 3-year-old daughter adored it and looked forward to going every day. The staff were incredibly caring, patient, and engaging, we could see how much they genuinely enjoyed spending time with the children. Overall, Serena Bay exceeded all our expectations. It’s the perfect place for both relaxation and family fun. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return!"
