expensive experience
Very expensive for the type of accomodation. Had to stay there because of a wedding we attended at that venue. Was told we had to stay two nights which was apparently untrue as we met people who had only booked in for one. Felt we were taken for a ride

The room and location were good. Dining options for a town of this size were excellent. Staff at the visitor centre were very helpful and directed us to a great walk near the town of Copeland called The Hidden Treasure Loop. Here we had an up close sighting of a lyre bird!

The place appeared dusty and not clean to the standard I would expect for that cost. There were several cobwebs inside containing spiders especially on the bedposts

Everything was as advertised, the exterior is rustic but the interior was clean, well furnished and modern. I definitely recommend this spot for a quiet escape.
