“Staying on a houseboat was a really neat experience! We reserved the "family houseboat" and it was more spacious than I thought it was going to be, especially the bathroom (which was very important, since four people were sharing it). I recommend motion sickness remedies if that is an issue for you. “Glen & Abby are wonderful people. They went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and I. We are grateful that they allowed us to get married on Serenity, it was absolutely perfect. If you're looking for something different this is it....it's a completely different vibe than your typical hotel or VRBO rental. “This was a perfectly unique and special experience. Matt was amazing to work with for arrival and departure. Timely and exactly as Liam said everything would be. They put special touches on the stay, ice bucket, two waters, beach towels, our name on a cute sign, a cooler, extra covers and everything you need for a Glamping stay on the water! “This place was beautiful and peaceful our only complaint would have to be that due to reservations with our Charter we were never able to resolve the issue with the TV in our room because we were gone before the office opened and Made it back after the office closed. Other than that everyone at the marina was kind and welcoming”

"I was very disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The facilities are outdated, and the room I was given initially had a very small balcony with a broken balcony door that wouldn’t close properly—possibly due to humidity and poor maintenance. I booked a “sea view room with balcony” online, but the balcony was tiny, there was no sea view at all, and the door was broken.
When I requested to cancel the booking upon check-in, the hotel refused. They offered to change my room but only to one without a balcony, and refused to refund the price difference. I had booked for two nights. The front desk told me that if I didn’t stay the first night, I could get a refund for the second night—but not the first. I asked to speak to the manager, and they said the manager would only be available the next morning at 9 AM.
I reluctantly stayed the first night, thinking I would speak to the manager the next day and get the second night refunded. However, when I finally met the manager, they said the second night was also non-refundable. In the end, I paid full price for a room that did not match what I booked and received no compensation or proper assistance.
This was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."
