“Chateau Royalw was wonderful. It is kept spotlessly clean and the staff go out of there to help you with anything you need. The pool area is beautiful and the bar will come by with free mini drinks or fruit to help you keep cool. The spa is excellent, we had two different treatments and they were both worth every penny. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. We had a partial ocean view. The balcony was tilted downward, and pretty small so we never really used it. My only complaint is they……

“We asked the front desk staff to book a taxi to the ferry and he booked a private car and the price is three time higher than taxi. When I ask why it is so expensive. He replied that they charged by person. I have never booked a car which charged you by person in the world. As a world- known hotel, such a thing could never happen.”

“1. Aircon was very noisy. No response to the request of changing room. 2. Having been waken up many times by the slam of doors of neighbors for some nights and totally could not sleep in a night because of the talking and giggling of a group of guests in a room until 5am. No regulation and poor sound insulation.”

“I love the view. Lemon bay is right in front of the hotel. And you can just wear your swim wear and enjoy the beach. Please book the shuttle bus service by yourself. As if you book it through Expedia or through the hotel. It will be expensive. The room is nice, there is a small balcony, and there are much space for me to put my big luggage. It only takes you to walk about 15 mins to the pier to the Duck island and 20 mins walk to Anse vata. Therefore, please walk!”

“ヌメアに到着した夜に1泊。 次の日の午後はイルデパンへ移動の予定で、それまでは朝市を楽しみたくて、ココティエ広場、マジャンタ空港まで近いこちらのホテルを選択しました。 スタッフの方がとにかくとても親切！ 到着した日は日本語が話せる男性の方が 対応してくれました。 お部屋がキレイでベッドも広々。 中庭が緑に囲まれていて 静かで過ごしやすい空間。 帰国前に再度こちらのホテルに立ち寄り フロントで荷物を預かっていただき 中庭で軽めのランチをとりました。 次回も利用したいホテルです。”

“Good location, but pretty average cheap accommodation in a hostel. I had a private room which was quite large and reasonably clean, it took a long time to check in though. Air conditioning worked well. If you just need a place to sleep & shower this would be fine.”

“Loved the decor and very central to the port. There was a supermarket just down the road. Friendly staff. There was a kitchen but no washing up equipment. Asked and got a tea towel, dishwashing liquid and wiping cloth but no plug for sink.”

“Sandra, with the aid of Google Translate made us feel welcome and at ease straight away. The cottage we stayed in was quirky, very clean and well-equipped including free WiFi. Local facilities aren't so good, you'll definitely need a car and the local beaches aren't ideal for swimming or snorkelling but there is a pool to lounge in and around. Noumea is about half an hour drive away and there are some museums and things to do there. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there……

“We had a wonderful stay and the property new is away. A magnificent house on a beautiful property beside the water. Great deck and alfresco, including a commercial out door kitchen, massive wood pizza oven, all beside a clean fresh water pool. Laze in the pool and look across the lawn at the palms to the sea. So many areas to relax / entertain and immaculate tropical gardens. Our host Lilou is an amazing host and went over and above to see that we enjoyed our stay.We also had lovely weather……
