They are transforming an old winery into what will eventually be a 5- or 6-star resort, complete with a spa and other amenities. The staff was friendly, but the brochures need to be updated with the correct pricing, also it would be nice to know that they don’t provide certain spa services when you’re the only one asking for it. If I had know that and that the restaurants were closed most of the time, I probably would’ve gone where it was more consistent."

"This is a wonderful place to stay while in Volterra, very ** sweet place. The breakfast was by far the best one so far for us from Rome, Florence to Volterra! They also have a very nice cafe/bar up on the roof. 5* for sure!"
