“This is a very small boutique hotel that has been recently updated. It only has 4 rooms and just stairs /no elevator FYI. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. One thing to note is anywhere in the tourist district is quite noisy at night. This is no fault of the hotel, just a heads up to others that the streets are all very narrow and clay tile so sounds carries very easily. Each little apartment has a living space, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen which includes microwave oven, stove and Smeg espresso machine on the main floor with winding steps up to a loft with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has a great chef with lots of homemade Portuguese dishes. We highly recommend this place. ”

I enjoyed my stay, the staff friendly and helpful. The only thing you need to know is parking is a few blocks away, and it’s not easy to park in front and drop your bags off.”

“Unique! The hotel building is a one-of-a-kind architectural masterpiece located on top of a cliff. It has a small very private beach surrounded by cliffs. The owner collects antique museum-quality furniture, which is displayed in all public areas, so it feels like staying at a museum. Beautiful views. Very quiet, no people around at all. Surely, a hidden gem!”
