We had a wonderful stay at Sandpebbles. The property is every bit as good as shown in the listing—it’s like having your own private resort. First, all the villa’s living spaces are very generously sized with indoor seating, the 5 ensuite bedrooms, 3 outdoor patio areas, the pool lounging and sunning areas, and the near-private beach area. Our party of 7-9 people fit very comfortably with more than enough room to spare. Next, the special touches made it stand out- every morning we were greeted with different napkins and table serveware, and we all enjoyed comfortable bedding, towels, and plenty of games and activities at hand. But the true gem of the property were the staff that bring it to life. Kemar, the kind and accommodating driver and grounds keeper for the neighbouring property, Del the fantastic and talented cook, Astley the groundskeeper who made beautiful arrangements out of the greenery and flora from the property, Paris the housekeeper who was cheerful, helpful, and welcoming from our arrival to our departure, and all of whom were led by an amazing head of staff Glen who’s a consummate professional host and we can’t say enough about how he was determined to make our enjoyment his primary objective. During our stay, we took advantage of the kayaks and paddleboards and journeyed around the bay, took serene early morning paddles up the nearby Rio Bueno, Jason helped us arrange Jet Skis for one day, we enjoyed the pool, the beach and sea every day, and spent evenin

Our experience at Sandpebbles was significantly different from the other guests who have left rave reviews. That said, we absolutely echo other guests' reviews when it comes to the amazing staff and the overall beauty of the house and property. Unfortunately, the positive aspects end there. We booked our trip several months ahead of time with extended family joining us in Jamaica for my mother's 70th birthday. In between our booking and our scheduled stay in December, Hurricane Melissa made landfall in October and devastated parts of Jamaica. Immediately after the storm, I reached out to the host to ask if we needed to cancel or postpone as we did not know the extent of any damage to the property and wanted to be sensitive to everyone’s needs. The host assured us we did not need to cancel or postpone and that the hurricane-related impacts to the property were minor. She assured me that these minor issues would be taken care of well before our stay in late December. However, after I made the final payment and my family had booked their flights, the host informed me days ahead of our stay that power had not been restored to the property. A generator would only be provided from 6pm to 8am daily. We still tried to make the best of it. When we arrived at the property we discovered that there was no WiFi (partially resolved the next day, after several attempts to reach the host) and no hot water, greatly impacting our experience, especially my young kids and elderly mother.

Enjoyed Sandpebbles! Loved meeting the Hosts who personally checked on our visit. All the reviews on Dells cooking were perfection making all of our favorite Jamaican dishes. She makes great vegan meals as well! And my family loved her pancakes too. The home is one of the best maintained villas we’ve been in with beautiful local plants and trees. You can see the personal attention to details in the upkeep. We also enjoyed excursions and activities that the hosts helped facilite. Thanks Gizelle and Jason.

We had an amazing time in Jamaica. The cook Ms. Dell was great and she catered to our vegetarian diet. Javier was good at managing the house and Sasha kept the house clean everyday. My 2 cents is to spruce the place with new furnishings, beddings, towels, furniture etc. to make it comparable to the sister property Siesta right next door. Jason was wonderful in organizing tours for our group of ten and Kemar, our driver was amazing. All in all, great place right on the beach with great food. Some TLC would make it perfect.

A Stay in Paradise!

We had an amazing experience staying at Sandpebbles! The property is beautiful. It was perfect having the pool and the beach for the kids to play all day long. The staff was top notch and very friendly. Chef Dell made delicious food all week and Mr. Jov was super helpful and attentive to anything we needed! The host was very quick to respond and provided a ton of great information for our stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spot!

Loved every moment - beautiful villa, picturesque gardens on a peaceful beach! Loved watching the pelicans perched in the tree on the beach, my husband enjoyed swimming across the calm bay daily. Great food and gracious staff. You will not be disappointed!

We had the best time! Hats off to the entire crew at Sandpebbles. Javier, Marianne, Dell and Nicholas made our trip unforgettable. Just amazing. Let Dell cook up all of her favorites! We told her what we liked and let her go from there, every meal was amazing. If you’re looking for an excursion, go to the Blue Hole! It was EPIC. We can’t wait to return.

Incredible place and staff!

We recently stayed with the whole family at the sandpebbles villa. We had the most incredible time, the beach, pool and house were all exactly as depicted. The staff is really what makes the stay so incredible. Kemar pick us up and drove us safely wherever we needed to go. Dell was our chef and made the process so simple and easy. Javier was our butler and was very tentative crafting drinks by the pool and making sure we had all we needed. Marion made sure the villa was clean and cozy and nic the grounds keeper worked hard to keep the yard/beach and pool clean. Gizelle was very quick to respond and help with any questions we had. Jason helped us line up fun activities that are lasting memories we will cherish forever. Something you don’t experience at a resort. Over all we had the best time and will be making our way back!

Great Family Vacation

This place was a great private location. The house was awesome with great bedrooms for everyone with their own bathrooms. The outside area was great as well. But what makes this place super awesome was the staff. The chef, butler, maid and groundskeeper were just over the top great. I would go here again any time.

Family trip to Jamacia

We had an amazing time at Sandpebble. We had a group of 10 and we fit perfectly. The home was as advertised, clean, private beach, private pool and fully staffed. The staff were freindly and welcoming. Ms. Dell delighted us with local dishes, Jermain was happy, upbeat and eager to help out with all of our requests, Ms. Mariane kept eveything tidy and turned down our rooms every evening, and Nicholas kept the beach free of seaweed and would show us all the wildlife around and made us a wonderful bonfire in the beach. Gizelle and Jason were very great hosts and helped us with organizing jet skis, massages and excursions. A couple things to be aware of, the transportation pricing is not round trip it is per direction, I was a little surprised about that but it was my mistake for not clarifying. The wording had me confused, makes sense in hindsight but i did misunderstand, and it can add up quickly. One more suggestion is I would be more detailed in menu planning next time, we needed more protein for the teens in our group and the groceries orders take some time and may not eveything avaliable, so plan ahead, so you will not waste time. We would absolutely visit Sandpebble again! Thank you all we had a great vacation.

A Beautiful, Serene Stay

We arrived in Jamaica a few days after Hurricane Beryl. Fortunately, the storm had minimal impact. Although the ocean view wasn't clear blue upon our arrival due to the heavy rain bringing murky water into the bay, it cleared up within a few days, revealing a picturesque landscape. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Our butler, Sean, is truly an artist; he transforms the table setup into a unique piece of artwork before every meal. Each day brought a different, beautiful arrangement. He was also responsive to all our other day-to-day needs. Chef Dell was amazing, and her jerk pork was a fave among everyone, prompting us to enjoy it multiple times during our stay. She generously shared her recipe, allowing me to recreate it at home for my family. MariAnn ensured our room was tidy every morning, and Gregory, our groundskeeper, maintained the beauty of the surroundings, which we greatly appreciated. We also worked closely with Jason, who owns/manages the property with Gizelle. He was very helpful with suggesting excursions and planning/arranging them. One of our guests also experienced a minor health emergency, and Jason was incredibly helpful and generous with his time to help resolve it. The only “negative” that was experienced was the mosquitoes. We were prepared with Off, and we'd recommend having some with you for anyone who is staying there. It was an annoyance, but it would not stop us from staying here again.

Wonderful Spot

We had an absolutely lovely time at Sandpebbles. The house is very clean and right on an ideal bay. While the house was wonderful, the staff there was the real highlight. Dell is a phenomenal cook, asked us what we would like (we went local) and proceeded to make delicous meals. Jav, our Butler, is personable, made fabulous Boat Drinks included Pina Coladas & Daquiris. Gregory took care of the outside and made a really spectacular bonfire and Miriam kept everything spic and span. Our hosts, Jason and Gizelle both stopped by and Jason arranged trips to the Blue Hole, Bio Bay & Discovery Cove. He also arranged In House Massages---best we ever had. You will love a stay at Sandpebbles!

Sandpebbles was awesome ! The pics on the listing are completely accurate. House and pool are terrific and literally steps from beach ! The staff could not have been better and made the trip extra special. We traveled with 5 grandkids ages 7 to 1 and the staff could not have been nicer to our little ones . Great stay at the beach!

We shared this property with another family including young children for a full week and had a really nice time. Gizelle was super responsive in the lead up, answering all our questions and arranging our airport transportation; her son Jason followed up during our stay, and the staff at the house were friendly, warm but unobtrusive, and super accommodating. We enjoyed sampling delicious Jamaican dishes that Dell prepared for us. It was wonderful, especially with young kids, to be right on the beach and we also got tons of use out of the large pool.

Byah's Birthday Bash

Everything was perfectly!! It was our 9th time in Jamaica and our 1st time staying in a Villa. We have alway stayed in 5 star all inclusive resorts. Sandpebbles is above and beyond anything we've ever stayed in! The house was clean, beds were very comfortable, the beach was perfect to walk even with little ones and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was the BEST! Jason (the owner) checked in often to make sure everything was perfect. He has lots of ideas for day adventures. Del (the chef/cook) cooked amazedly. Her menu idea were spot on and we traveled with picky eaters. Let her plan your menus. You won't be disappointed. We do suggest you try her barbie chicken. Marianne kept the house spotless. Jav (butler) kept our drinks full poolside! Everyday he had a special drink of the day. Gregory (gardener) also kept the grounds and pool clean! We can't thank them enough for their hard work and dedication to make sure we had the best vacation ever! We can't wait to book again next year!

Pampered Relaxation!

As Jamaicans returning home for a long overdue visit, we could not have asked for a better home. Sandpebbles is ideally located between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. About the house first - it is exactly as pictured on the website. The house is large, clean, and well-decorated. The rooms are well-airconditioned, and all of the bathrooms are very nice. The home's common area is not air-conditioned, but there are fans and a nice cross breeze. The pool is gorgeous, although the hot tub did not work when we were there. That would have been nice at night. There is a large covered veranda where we enjoyed all of our meals. The grounds were immaculate and very pretty. Javier, Dell, Gregory, and Maryann were an excellent host team. As the house butler, Javier is great. He was super fun and down to earth, accommodating us perfectly. Dell did the cooking, and she had all the Jamaican classics for us - oxtail, curry goat, brown stew chicken, escovitch fish, johnny cake, rice & peas, patties, ackee, roast breadfruit, fried plantains, scotch bonnets, and pears (avocado). That was amazing. Gregory kept the grounds in their splendid shape. Maryann was fabulous in assisting all around. We loved the team. The homeowner, Gizelle, came by, and we enjoyed meeting her. Throughout the booking process, she was communicative, and when we arrived, the team had everything ready to go.

Great stay!

I would happily stay here again. The online description and pictures were on spot. The staff was really good. The butler, OJ, was our point person at the property and he did an amazing job. Chef Joe did a very good job, was very kind and met our needs for a combination of Jamaican and American foods. Nell was a great housekeeper and very welcoming. Gregory was the groundskeeper and kept things perfect outside and in when needed. The pool was perfect, Beach was great and outdoor seating was comfortable. Minor challenges were the bugs were bad occasionally outside (which they cannot help), there is a hot tub but it isn’t functional and the hot water didn’t work great in the showers all the time. However, these are minor overall and I would 100% go back to the home. Gizelle is a great host and her son, Jason, helped out as well and was very kind.

Large family vacation

Our family is from South Carolina and this was our first experience staying at a private residence in Jamaica. The trip was excellent! I can't say enough about the entire staff at the house. Joe, Kemar, Del, Gregory and OJ all made the trip that much more special. If you're looking for a private vacation that's like having your own all inclusive, this is a safe bet for sure. Jason has the right connections and does a great job of handling the logistics if we wanted to travel somewhere. Kemar couldn't be a better driver and tour guide. Joe is a terrific chef and shared much about the local food and some history behind Jamaican fare. We left the week's menu in his hands and he never disappointed! OJ did a great job always having the table prepared and coffee made. We literally didn't have to drive anywhere, prepare a meal or wash a dish the entire week. They did all the heavy lifting which we greatly appreciated. It may be difficult at first getting used to having people around the home while you're on vacation, but it's no different than staying in a resort. Last, Gizelle was a wonderful host and took the time to stop by and say hello to ensure we had settled in ok. The home had everything we needed and was well cared for.
