“Such a nice breakfast out on the patio. Quiet, peaceful. Took a dip in the pool which is gorgeous.. unfortunately weather not super warm during our visit but still enjoyed a refreshing dip! Loved our hike to SanGimingnano. Be aware that this is kind of a remote property, but it is beautiful and peaceful. Its up a windy dirt road. We stayed for dinner two nights and enjoyed the property and hiking. Very nice and helpful staff.”

I have never experienced anything so warm and welcoming during my travels. The hospitality they provided went above and beyond what anyone would expect or could ask for. “Everything bout Hotel Sovestro was perfect. It's easy to get to, parking is right in front, we were greeted by staff (family owners!), our room had a patio onto the large and pleasant pool area, there is a bar with a very friendly and helpful bar owner, a Michelin star restaurant where the matriarch of the family prepares amazing dinners (wait until you see the breakfast buffet). Again, EVERYTHING about the hotel is top notch (location, staff, amenities, cleanliness, furnishings, the bed, the……

“Really nice scenic view to Volterra, typical oil trees and fields around. Calm and relaxed evironment, ideal for longwalks and relaxation. Pool is also enjoyable even in October. Room was nice and clean, wifi working well. Restaurant was excellent, the wild boar dishes can recommend! Staff friendly and helpful. Washing clothes was also possible so if you are mid trip or longer staying that is also an advantage. Enjoyed our stay there!”
