“If you are planning a trip to Pebble Beach, Carmel by the Sea, or just want to be on the Monterey Peninsula, you are not going to do much better than this property. Minutes from Ocean Ave in Carmel, Pebble Beach Golf Course, Poppy Hills Golf Course and of course 17 Mile Drive. We had six adults staying for a quick golf trip and wanted to be close to the course. “We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey.”

“Our experience at this hotel was terrible. It was impossible to contact them before arriving. When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay. And as I requested a downstairs room for the 5th time she put me upstairs. Another woman working said they need a downstairs room. So finally we did get the downstairs room.
