“Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. ”

“Room could do with some minor touch ups as showing signs of wear but generally okay and for what I paid for 10 nights I would consider value for money. Very basic but I knew that when booking and as I was working away I just needed somewhere to sleep and shower and this was perfect for that. Bed was comfortable, staff friendly on reception and room was warm and cosy. Enjoyed the stay, would stay again next time i'm working up in Aberdeen. “All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was good and could be altered to suit different tastes. The bus service to get into town is a short walk from the hotel. It is not the best hotel and it is not the worst hotel by a long way but it suited us and we look forward to our next visit.”
