My sister from Germany was not familiar with traditional Navajo houses and staying in one of these beauties was simply wonderful and a lifetime experience. Our host was very helpful, and the place itself was spotless clean, cozy, gorgeously decorated and we loved to greet the owner's sweet dog in the morning.」

「Dark Canyon was indeed a great off grid experience. The 360-degree views around the cabin with no other humans around offered something not found very often. The kitchen is well stocked. The couch pulls out so you could sleep on it or relax after a long day of hiking. I missed that there wasn’t a TV when I booked, but we streamed on a laptop. "It doesn't look luxurious at first, but the facilities are very complete. The air conditioner is turned on before you check in, so it is cool as soon as you enter the room.
