「The room is clean and comfortable, but the WiFi signal is very weak, and usually disconnected... The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... So it is better call hotel come to rail station to pick you up.... Dinner and breakfast are delicious~~ 」

「Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.」

「This is a lovely hotel with great views and is also dog-friendly (which is why we originally chose it). The standout element has to be the service — Leah and the whole team are incredibly welcoming and put in next-level effort to ensure we had the best stay. If you’re not staying at the hotel but in the area, the new bar is super recommended! There are some lovely pubs but it’s definitely going to be a top spot. We’ll be back this summer for sure now. It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. 」
