「Very reasonable price but we struggled to find horizontal surfaces on which to place phones, wallets and glasses. A couple of small shelves here and there would be greatly appreciated. Likewise, in the absence of wardrobes, options to hang clothes were limited; a few coat hooks on the walls would be a great improvement and take the pressure off the rack on the door. 「Cedar court is a nice looking hotel (at least from the front) and is a good location - within walking distance (about a mile) to the centre of Harrogate. Parking at the hotel is easy, but it does cost you an extra £10/day, although parking anywhere in Harrogate is costly it would appear. The first room we got was OK - clean enough. Bathroom was a bit tired, but OK. However, the mattress in room 301 was beyond its useful life - completely out of shape and collapsed in the middle, no support for...

「Lovely room though we had a problem with a leak from the upstairs shower. It was quickly sorted by the hotel manager. The staff seemed really friendly. The hotels is a short walk to the centre of Harrogate and I would recommend」

「A really nice room, spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable bed, everything in the room we needed… a fan, hairdryer, iron, kettle; coffee, tea, fridge, decent sized tv and a really lovely modern bathroom. 「I booked a room specifically for the air conditioning on the two hottest nights of the week. I booked the room through Expedia and checked and double checked that the room was listed as having air conditioning. When I arrived I was told the room did not have air conditioning and none were available. I had no other option to stay on such short notice and could not have got a refund anyway as it was booked through a third party. This is completely unacceptable and, quite frankly, unforgivable.」
