“This was an amazing place to stay. They thought of all the details and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Their artistic touches throughout the property made it extra special. We loved being in nature off the beaten path, yet it was easy to get to the national park. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to anyone visiting the big island. ”

“The cabin was tucked away at the back of the property within the ohia forest. It was perfect size for two people. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. And the hot tub was a huge bonus. It was such a peaceful stay.”

“This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. There is an outside table with umbrella and chairs. The stove and sink with utensils and crockery are on a prep surface outside of the bedroom. The……

“Stayed a short time, but it was fun and very easy! Katherine is a warm and caring host!!”

“We were blown away by the off-grid efficiency of this 100% Solar-powered cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and very well apportioned with full-size appliances, cookware, etc. The signage and over-use of a label maker was a bit weird and off putting, bordering obsessive. But, I understand the owner’s intent to protect their property… but, it was a bit much. ”

“Bed was sunken. The Host was accusing, mad and drama. He came to the home unannounced kicked us out within 30 minutes of being there. Accused us of having a party. The place had said it slept 4 but I didn’t realize until I got through reservation on Expedia it automatically did for two. Expedia did not connect to Vrbo app and I had not contact to receive door code and no way to change it. He accused me of being deceptive many times I offered more money etc. he was mad a kid show was on. He said……
