“Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!”

“Special and rare because it has everything we were looking for in a great setting. Excellent craftsmanship in the construction and perfect attention to detail. No need to look for instructions on where things are or how to operate anything and meticulous attention to cleanliness and maintenance. No noise or distractions, couldn't think of anything lacking.”

“Our stay at The Cabin was just great! The weather allowed the three kids in our party to play outside for hours and hours—they loved the lawn when the tide was high and the beach when the tide was low. Everyone was charmed by the log cabin interior and the stairs to the third bedroom were fun for us. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice and we appreciated the seating options since there were seven of us. I’m not sure when we’ll have the opportunity to go back but would consider The Cabin again!”

“This is a secluded adorable log cabin off the beaten path. Just what we needed for some quiet down time. Yet close enough to town to visit family. It was clean and well stocked. The decorations for fall were superior. The clean, well kept landscaped and fire pit area were great. Be prepared to drive down a dirt road. (well kept) And keep an eye out for the sign that says “Cozy Log Cabin”. You cant see the house until after you turn into the unpaved driveway.”

“If you're looking for the perfect place to relax and get some perspective on life, this is it. If you're fussy about every little detail, maybe this isn't. The awesome view, the privacy, the sauna, comfortable beds, great wood burning fireplace, all the important things are here. It's very rural, so as you might expect, the decks were covered in leaves, pine cones, broken branches, plus quite a few cobwebs throughout the house, things we read other renters complain about but don't bother us.……

“This property is amazing. The views can't be beat. We watched bald eagles and osprey every day. Every detail on this property has been carefully thought out, inside and out. Owners are extremely responsive and neighbors are friendly. We will be staying again!”

“We used this house for a weekend girls trip. The layout is really spacious with multiple levels. The location is very private, and just 12 minutes from downtown Langley. There is very limited to no cellphone service at the house, but the WiFi connects easily. The manager was very friendly and quick to respond to our questions. The only thing is that I would not recommend adults stay on the top bunks of the black metal bunk beds, these specific bunk beds would be more ideal for kids.”

“Such a beautiful place to stay! Exactly as pictured and described... Deer eating berries right outside your windows, the view from the deck could be framed, the smell of the pine trees and crisp ocean air while laying in the hammock, walks on the beach right down the hill, truly a couples paradise for 2. Dan was such a great host and even notified us that one of the ferries was down so we wouldn't miss our flight. Their book of suggested places to eat and see made it easy and relaxing. I highly……

“A quaint little cabin located on Gose Lake. Private dock with row boat and canoe. Hot tub, some board games are included, however there is NO internet or Television. Civilization is only a few miles away with easy access. Great adventures while staying here, would stay again!!!!! Seattle is only 40 minutes away via ferry.”

“This is a truly stunning home on a lovely lake. Beautifully decorated and super clean. It sits high up on a hill overlooking the lake through the trees. It's mostly very quiet as only electric motors are allowed on the lake. However there are many houses around the lake and a public access, and voices do travel. That said, I am super noise sensitive and I didn't have any problems with the noise levels. A huge plus is the property management company. They are very communicative and clearly take……

“Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit.”
