“We stayed for a family get together, the space was nice but for a larger group (7) the kitchen was small. We used paper plates and plasticware to keep down on dishes but there is only one outside trash can and with a larger group including an infant trash was taken out more often and accumulated quickly. Take notethere is no yard to walk your dog, we had our small dog and walked her up the road which wasn't a problem for us. Easy check-in and out. We would stay again, we loved the decks and……

“This house has been newly renovated and was very cozy for our family of 5. The location worked very well for all that we wanted to do in Boone and West Jefferson. Found some great spots for food including: Third Day Kitchen (great views and serene) and the Dough Shed (immaculate restaurant that had a fabulous, well stocked buffet even in late afternoon). We were there in a bit of a heat wave and did find the lack of central AC a little hard and the multitude of newly installed light switches……

“We enjoyed our stay at your VRBO! We also had family staying a quarter of a mile away up Paul Goodman Rd at Bella Woods Cabin that can be rented thru Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. Their house has a huge game room in the walk-out basement, with pool table, foosball, ping pong table, fire place, seated inside bar for serving drinks, hot tub, outdoor fire chimney and patio for roasting marshmallows, beautiful trails on their multi acre site, 4 large bedrooms, and huge 2 story vaulted ceiling in the……

“The house was perfect and even better than expected. It has wonderful furniture and appears to be professionally decorated. During our stay we cooked nice meals, stayed up late talking in the comfortable living room, and had coffee on the porch each morning. The driveway was a little tricky to find and it's very steep so I would recommend arriving before dark. I will definitely book this home again. ”

“We stayed at The Beaver Den while visiting West Jefferson for a family birthday and reunion, and it was perfect. The home was clean, comfortable, well kept, and centrally located. Amanda was fantastic—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Downtown West Jefferson had plenty of shopping, dining, and activities, and it was a short drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and other nearby attractions.
