“We enjoyed three days with our son and his family. Being able to put the canoe in at the end of the street was great. The kids loved the games room. Everything we needed was in the house and we were very comfortable. Beware of the family of kookaburras that live locally and don't mind helping themselves to any food being shared outside.”

“Nice little spot to stay, easy property manager to deal with. House is great but if you have young kids might not be suitable due to sunken lounge and lots of different flooring with various heights. Other than that, great stay”

Thanks to Alison for her great hospitality by phone as well as in person, also her tour in the morning about the Sanctuary. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wish to support their work as well as to enjoy a bit of relax atmosphere in Port Stephens.”

“Easy to find, clean and close to the beach”

“We stayed for 5 nights over New Years. The two bedrooms were a good size and the location in the complex was excellent for sitting on the balcony and enjoying a breakfast out of direct sunlight. The happy hour at the onsite restaurant and bar has great variety. We didn't go to the restaurant as there was cooking facilities in our room and a BBQ on the balcony. The kitchen has everything you need although the knives were blunt. We ended up getting a $5.00 set of 3 knives from Kmart. All shops……

“Nice older style house tucked away in a cul de sac very close to Little Beach. This is a perfect beach for younger children and very family friendly. 5 mins drive into Nelson Bay . We enjoyed our stay.”

“Lovely clean unit, just as viewed in profile. Great location and set up for home cooking but also lots of restaurants nearby. Shoal Bay is gorgeous and Nelson Bay nearby has lots more amenities but very busy”
