"We loved EVERYTHING. Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place ."

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

The space was perfect for our family, with plenty of room for everyone, The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, We especially enjoyed the lovely garden area where we could relax after a day of exploring, The location is a big plus too"

"Diese Unterkunft war inexistent - Es war im Bestätigungsemail eine Tel.Nr. hinterlegt. Als ich da angerufen habe, wurde mir gesagt, dass sie keine Zimmer vermieten... War somit ein Fake! Hat grad etwas Stress verursacht... gut bin ich nicht dorthin gefahren! "

"Nice location. Good appliances and furnishing including TV and internet. Cleaning could be a wee bit better (dust bunnies here and there - but we are picky). Nice to be in a village that is not so tourist dominated."

"Very modern and comfortable studio apartment In a quiet neighborhood. It was convenient to go by bus/train wherever we wabted, only 30 minutes to Amsterdam. Nice place, good accommodation for 2 or 3 people. We spent one week exploring Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. It was a pleasure to return to this place after a busy day. Thoroughly enjoyed it. "About a 20 minute drive from the Amsterdam airport, this is a cute little home in a quaint town in the country. Some restaurants close by but not a whole lot else, which is kind of what we were looking for. The host is nice, knowledgeable about sites and surrounding areas, and helpful with special needs. Large, fresh breakfast included as well."

"Overall is good. Easy transportation and many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. But the hot water only fit for 2 ppl, then not enough hot water for the rest of ppl. "

"The host was very communicative with the entire check-in and check-out process. Continuously went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The neighborhood is amazing and there is a nice restaurant close. The property was very quiet and well-maintained. The locals were super friendly and travel to Amsterdam Central was super easy. Cant express how fortunate we were to find this place!"

"This hotel is great! It is just steps away from the metro to get to Amsterdam central. The beds were so comfortable! We rented bikes from the hotel to get around the city, and they were far better than other bikes we rented in the city. The rooftop bar and hot tubs are a great addition! Definitely would stay here again! "
