The people that live there for extended periods of time are really nice, it's a miner's camp right up the road from Crater of Diamonds. "The cabin was cute and well maintained. Everything worked (A/C, hot water etc.). The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The location is somewhat remote, so keep that in mind. It was a 20 minute drive to anything. Our only real complaint was the bedroom area was small. There was only enough room on the sides of the bed for one of us to get out, so I had to slide down the bed to get out."

We were left to find for ourselves. I cleaned the ac filter it was yucky and it worked better. The mattress was awful. Beds need replaced. We did enjoy the stay. It was within yards of the crater. It had cold air, a clean nice mini fridge and a microwave (I never used the microwave). "Cute metal building conversion. There were plenty of places to sleep. Two twins, a double, and a queen. Queen was on wheels and we had adventures each time one of us would get on or off the bed. It ONLY moved 4-6 inches. LOL! Location was great. We appreciated the supply of tools to use at the Crater of Diamonds; just down the road a few minutes. When using the bathroom we’re made sure our waist and chests looked great! Haha. Overall, we’d stay again."

"Myself and friends went for my birthday- bucket list to dig diamonds. I stayed in cabin #3 and they stayed in #2. I don't require the taj mahal and it worked just fine. It had cold air, a clean nice mini fridge and a microwave (I never used the microwave). The bathroom/ shower house is that of an older well used campground shower house and could use a face lift but gets the job done. The cabin is the same but it beats messing with a tent, your covered from the rain and the price is right. We enjoyed a nice campfire both nights, it was quiet and niby bothered us. The guy overseeing the place was even nice when I had to call him at 7am to get back in my cabin after showering and locking the key inside while doing so, lol. The main downside I see is the "permanent" residence that seems to be living there and have crap all around their campers, however they don't bother you it's just an eye sore. It's close to all kinds of food places and stores. Just needs a bit of a facelift but like said the price is right, just don't go in expecting a bunch of stuff. It's a rustic cabin. Have fun!"
