“I had a lovely stay at PL Place. It was quiet, relaxing and the staff were so lovely to us and treated us very kindly which we appreciated so much. If you like calm and luxury, this is the place for you. There was a staff member who was so lovely in the day time who helped move our sun beds, umbrella around etc. and a very lovely staff member who worked in the evenings and made sure lighting would be on when we were walking in and out late. “Where we stayed at the Oasis Camp was lovely. Clearly it was a newer addition to the Barcelo Resort and it was beautifully appointed and quiet. At night they would light a fire in the center of all the "tents" which made for a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the rest of the Barcelo resort has gone somewhat to seed. It was clearly in it's heyday 20 years ago or so and not much has been done to improve on it since. There were multiple amenities (volleyball, tennis, lake) that weren't well……

Situated close to the city walls, taxis and transport can drop you right at the door — a real advantage when you see so many tourists dragging their suitcases through the Medina. Being on the edge means zero hassle, yet it’s still only a 15‑minute walk to the main square. Hamid and the team are exceptional. The setting is beautiful, the location is ideal, and the breakfast is excellent. The team looked after our family with genuine care — nothing was ever too……

“Good points: Nice clean riad. Courtyard was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Great cleaning service. Muhammad, the helper, was excellent. Very nice rooftop. Bad points: No wall between toilet and the room we stayed in, which was very odd and quite uncomforatable. AC cooling was okay but not the best. Fare from airport to riad was very expensive. I think this should've been mentioned beforehand by the riad. You can easily reach the riad from the airport for 100 MAD, rather then the 250 MAD which……
